We do thrive in community and it was thanks to other people who planted seeds in me that I was able to find my healing path with my body and relationship to food. My mission is to make healing as simple as possible so that you have the tools to face life's difficulties with ease, integrity and calm.

    My wellness journey began while facing my own struggles around food and body image which went on for more than 10 years (!) where cycles of guilt, overexercise, and restrictive eating dominated my life. This cycle took so much energy from me that it prevented me from enjoying social gatherings, events and even putting energy into my life's goals. The reality is that I didn't have the proper tools to heal and it wasn't until I tried EVERYTHING that I stumbled upon mindfulness, followed by intuitive eating ,exercise and somatic healing, that I began to truly heal from the inside out.

    Today, I am a Somatic Movement Practitioner, Reiki practitioner, and creator of Mindful FitnessTM, a program that merges fitness, somatic tools, and mindfulness to empower others to find balance and peace in their bodies. My approach blends modalities like EFT tapping, breath work, movement, and meditation to support deep nervous system healing and self-acceptance.

    I have been practicing mindfulness for 10 years and I have been in the fitness industry for about 12 years. I got certified in the Somatic Activated Healing Method by the spiritual guide Sah D'Simone and I got my Reiki I and II certification from a traditional Reiki school with direct lineage from the founder of Reiki.

    In the past I have worked in environmental justice from the United Nations to different city governments and Indigenous Tribes. The latter, truly shaped my view of this healing work as staying true to tradition and honoring community and the Earth is central to my work and the way I live my life. Everything is energy and connected to each other.

    I created the Somatic Serenity course because I know how it is to struggle with restrictive and binge eating, negative self talk and mindless exercise, especially when when special occasions like holidays, weddings, birthdays occur, but also in every day life. This course is the "best friend" I wish I had when I was in the midst of my recovery. The holidays were specifically tough for me because of the external pressure and exposure to triggers I couldn't control (aka yummy food and I allow myself to eat every day now, not only during a holiday!) Said this, I still struggled everyday, in fact, this program is designed to support you in your every day life, not only on special occasions.

    Today I eat intuitively, I don't distinguish between "good" and "bad" foods, and while doing this, and I train intuitively. And this was all thanks to the simple tools that I packaged into this course. Thanks to these, I achieved the best shape of my life and mental clarity.
