What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy transfer technique that supports healing. This can be done through hands-on and treatments and virtually through distant treatments. Both treatments are non-invasive. The term comes from two Japanese words, “Rei,” meaning “universal,”, and “Ki,” meaning “life force energy.” Reiki can be loosely translated as “universal life-force energy.” During the treatment, the practitioner acts as a vessel and provides the recipient a positive boost of “ki”. This one raises the energy field’s vibratory level of the person by helping to release pain, both in the mind and in the body. Reiki might be used for supporting physical healing ( ex. due to surgery or chronic pain) and emotional pain (whether this one is related to one event in particular or is related to ancestral trauma).

How do Distant Treatments work?

This is probably the question I get the most. The explanation comes down to simple physics laws. Reiki is energy, and energy can travel through space and time. Just think about radio waves. We don’t “see” them per se but they are still able to travel long distances and arrive to their destination. Reiki works in the same way. In fact, as it is known in physics, all matter is made out of atoms and within each atom, there are electrons. Electrons, when solicited, can speed up and increase their magnetic field. This is what the practitioner does by sending Reiki (=universal energy) to you: it helps remove physical and emotional blockages by increasing your energetic frequency.

Tradition

For me, tradition and respecting heritage is fundamental. This is why I chose to be trained and certified by Brian Brunius of the NYC Reiki Center, a Reiki Master with direct lineage to the founder of Reiki, Dr. Mikao Usui. I was certified by Brian in both Reiki I and Reiki II, the highest level of Reiki training for practitioners.

The Courageous One

This package is suited for the beginner who wants to dip their toes into Reiki and truly start seeing significant changes in their physical, mental and spiritual experiences.
All packages are targeted to your needs, but here below you can find the main structure that we will follow.

The Dedicated One

This package is suited whether you are new to Reiki and would like a longer commitment, or if you have already experienced it. This package is more inclusive of additional supportive somatic practice such as EFT and Somatic Activated Healing. Details below.

Six 1hr 30’ sessions for In-person Treatments

This session is ideal if you have already done Reiki and would like a one session every now and then to recalibrate. Or, if you are not sure if you want to commit to a package just yet. If this is the case, do keep in mind that if you are a beginner it is optimal that you sign up for a package of at least 4 sessions. This is because the body of a beginner might take some time before it opens up to the Reiki energy.
What is in the session: One 1hr session for Distant Treatment, 1h 30' for In--person
